Registration is free for both students and teachers on Teacherim.com. However, we do have standard membership where teachers can boost their profile and get more benefits.

Once registered, you will be prompted to choose a schedule for your small group interview where you be asked about your experience and education. Once passed, you will be asked to complete your profile dashboard and schedule an on-board training.

This is the step where company’s ethos, terms and conditions are discussed with you. You will also be trained on how to respond to inquiries and maintain a high-quality teaching and customer services with your prospective and booked clients.

Early access to jobs: Standard members get a lead of up to 2 hours to apply to a post. Standard members with the highest rating get lead of 2 hours. 

Top Placement in the search results: This leads to more exposure and hence more student inquiries. About 50% of the jobs go through direct contact or booking of the teachers. If you are a standard member, and on top of the list, it increases your chances of getting those jobs directly.

Students can book you by paying on the form link to your “Booking” icon. They will choose a package from your offer and you will receive this offer on your notifications. An automated group chat (with you, parents and admin) will also appear on your “Messages” tab providing information about the students’ needs, tuition/governess requirements and other personal information. You can arrange your schedule through our messages feature.

In case you were referred by Teacherim as a teacher to the parents, a group chat will also be made including (with you, parents and admin). Here you will need to introduce yourself and communicate with them to make arrangements. Once, they confirmed to choose you, they will be prompt to pay for your trial lesson. If they are happy with your services they can book any of your offered packages from the platform. All your paid bookings will appear on your notifications.

The session will last from a minimum of 1 hour if no extensions are requested. In case parents want to extend their session with you, you have to inform us in the group chat/messages and tell them to make their booking in the platform. If they are on monthly subscription, their extended hours will be deducted from their subscribed booking. 

NOTE: We are not liable if you serve for hours or extended hours which have not been paid through Teacherim. We can help you follow up with the parents but we cannot give you a 100% guarantee to collect their payment.

We aim to maintain a  high standard and professional level of service so our teachers have been interviewed, attended on-board training and professionally checked. Majority of the teachers in the website have Education Degree and Teaching Licenses.

However, experts in fields such as Virtual Engine, Vlogging, Marketing, Engineering etc. may not have teaching certificates but possess experience and certifications required to their subject fields. 

Those certificates will be confirmed during interview and on-board training.

Tutoring can be done online or in-person depending on both student’s or teacher’s needs and agreement.

Yes, we do have a built-in conferencing platform for online lessons. However, it is still on progress so we recommend other free video conferencing platforms accessible online, such as Skype, Zoom, Google Meet, Jitsi Meet etc.

You will be paid online to your preferred payment options you’ve provided us.

You can also update your payment details. Go to your dashboard > Payments & Rewards > Payment Method.

In their profile, tutors can specify how they prefer to be paid. Payment options may include Credit Card, Paypal and money transfer, among others. However, the instructor must earn a minimum of 100aed per week for the payment to be processed.

They are your monthly offer to parents. This is an option where parents subscribe for your 3 or 6 months service. 

3 months subscription - Parents get 5% off from your monthly offer.

6 months subscription - Parents get 12 % off from your monthly offer.

3 to 6 months subscriptions are automatically renewed on the same day when parents subscribed. 

The hours remaining from previous month can be carried over to the following month. 

If they consumed extended hours without making an additional booking from Teacherim, your rendered service will be deducted from their subscription. 

In case parents need you to serve for additional hours, you should ask them to make a new booking and confirm payment on the website before you can proceed with your service with them. Users cannot pay you directly for additional booking as it is against your terms with us.

They have to choose you profile from teacherim. You can also send them your profile link. Click book and choose the number of hours per session as well as the number of days per month. Choose subscription, either 3 or 6 months. Confirm their payment by providing their bank details.

When you sign up with us, you agree to deliver the best service to our client. In case clients provided us with valid reasons supported by substantial proof for refund such as inconsistency of your timings or attendance, poor tutoring/governess-related services or safeguarding issues etc. They can request for 100% cash-back guarantee. That means that you will not be paid by Teacherim for the hour of service you’ve made on complained (and thoroughly investigated) hours/days by the client.

No, teachers registered in the site are not permitted to accept direct payment from clients since we desire a legal method for payment and it’s not safe in case users do not pay your delivered service or permanently cut connection with us. This can also be considered as a loss of business to us in the future and you agree to be deemed liable for 1000 USD in case we found out that you’e directly communicating with the clients.

No, we do not take any liability for any payments made directly between parents and teachers. If any payment is made outside our website, we can't do anything about it. You may still contact us and we will try to help but we can't guarantee that we will be able to get your refund.

This system is built to avoid fraud and create easier transactions between students and teachers. We used to get reports from teachers who taught students but didn’t pay them and from students who paid but the teacher did not show up or delivered a good service. Some students would also like to pay in advance but are afraid to pay directly to teachers without receipt, cancellation or refund policy.

Users pay in advance without doubts due to our cash back, cancellation and refund policies. Students who paid through our platform will have a "verified label." because we understood that they’re using a real account. Reviews and rating submitted by "Verified," students generate extra trust other students. This can help teachers reviewed to attract more clients.

After completing every lesson, your clients will be prompted to provide feedback regarding your lesson or your service. You can encouraged them to rate you in order to evaluate your teaching performance and ensure quality control. You can also send them a feedback link where you can rated and reviewed. This feature will help you gain more clients.

You first have to decide whether you will be giving a free or paid trial. You will have to discuss this in your group messages. You and your client can arrange your schedule.

If your trial is free, you can attend your trial lesson on the said schedule then we will follow up with the clients.

If your trial is paid, your client will have to pay at least one hour lesson first before attending your trial. This payment will be sent to you on the following week.

If your client is happy with you, they can continue with your lessons by booking hourly, monthly or monthly subscription.

Your free trial lesson counts as your first lesson if the client continues with you and it will be substracted from their lesson credit.

If they can provide us with a valid reason supported by substantial proof, we can organize a new lesson with a new teacher for your clients. The rest of their unused credit will be carried over to their next teacher. But you will be paid based on the hours of service you rendered them unless they asked for a cashback guarantee

We are a high quality platform and all of our teachers are verified and interviewed. Course scheduling and teacher screening cost us a lot of time and effort. We require students to book at least a 1 hour lesson, so we make sure that unserious requests are filtered. However, you have an option to offer FREE TRIAL especially if you are confident that your clients will continue with you after the first session.

You will be paid because you reserved a schedule only for your client. Your client will be charged 50% of 1 hour lesson’s booking fee. We have a flexible lesson policy, for as long as we are informed within 24 hours.

Teacherim and the parents must be notified of any cancellations or changes to any booking in the group chat. You can also change your booking on your Sessions Calendar. We follow a 24 hour cancellation policy. You have to give us and your client a 24 hours or more notice to change the booking unless agreed with your client for extreme reasons. However, please bear in mind that inconsistency of attendance and tardiness are valid reasons for your client to cancel their booking with you and switch to another teacher. 

Teachers are strictly prohibited to directly communicate with the client outside the group chat. All communication must only be done on Teacherim.  This is to evaluate teaching services tendered by the teachers and to ensure student and teacher’s privacy and safety.

You are also prohibited to directly refer other teachers to the client nor get student referral from Teacherim’s clients. This leads to the termination of all your bookings with us and account with Teacherim. This is a loss in our business so  you therefore agree to be charged with 1000 USD if such incident happens.

At the end of each session, you are required to log in your completed tuition date, number of hours and payment remarks. Kindly check if there are any discrepancies regarding these information under your dashboard’s “Sessions” tab. If you have any doubt on these information, send us a message on your teacher’s group chat so that we can clarify them.
