You can register by clicking on register and filling in the needed details then submit.

You can also register by booking a trial from the home page or booking a teacher from teacher’s profile page, once booking is confirmed you will be redirected to register so that you can access your dashboard, profile settings and teachers’ messages on our platform.

Registration is free for both students and teachers on Teacherim.com.

Go to our website and unregister by visiting "Settings" and click on "Delete my Account" at the bottom of the page.
 

There are two ways to book a session- by finding teachers and booking.

A. FIND TEACHERS

Step 1: Click FIND TEACHERS button on top of the website or on the right side of the homepage. 

Step 2: Select whether you need a tutor or a governess.

Step 3: Select the information that you required from your tutor or governess. 

Step 4: Choose your specific subject.

Step 5: You may also filter your search based on price or rating.

Step 6: Know more about the teachers by clicking “See Details” to read their profiles. 

Step 7: Go to the profile of the teacher you like best.

Step 8: Click BOOK. Select the number of hours and number of days per week that you require. You can also subscribe for 3 or 6 months to avail a bigger discount.

Step 9: Choose the date and time of the sessions based on the teacher’s availability.

Step 10: Select your payment method then click submit.

Step 11: Wait for the email approval of the scheduled session with your chosen teacher.

Step 12: Register on the website to access direct messaging with your booked teacher. You can arrange confirmed schedule with the teacher through messages.

 

B. BOOKING

If you are not sure about the criteria of a tutor or governess that you’re looking for, you can choose the following options:

Step 1: Click BOOK from the upper right corner of the website pages. It can also be seen on the right side of the website when you’re on the homepage. 

Step 2: Choose whether you want to book a subject, tutor or governess. 

Step 3: Select information required from you.

Step 4: Click BOOK.

Steph 5: Give us 48 hours to contact you and connect you with our recommended teachers (at least 2 to 3 teachers) who meet your requirements and/or who is nearest to your location.

Step 6: Select the teacher you prefer. 

Step 7: Book your teacher directly from the payment form that we will send you through a group chat with your chosen teacher. 

Yes, just log in to your account and process your booking for the next session. You can access your booking history, payment details and other info from your dashboard.

The session will last from a minimum of 1 hour if no extensions are requested. 

When booking a teacher, you have options to choose the number of hours per session and the number of days per week. You can also subscribe for 3 to 6 months to avail more discount. 

We aim to maintain a  high standard and professional level of service so our teachers have been interviewed, attended on-board training and professionally checked. Majority of the teachers in the website have Education Degree and Teaching Licenses.

However, experts in fields such as Virtual Engine, Vlogging, Marketing, Engineering etc. may not have teaching certificates but possess experience and certifications required to their subject fields. Once booked, you reserve the right to contact your chosen teacher to confirm relevant qualifications.

Yes, they can book a session for you if you are under the legal age. 

Tutoring can be done online or in-person depending on both student’s or teacher’s needs and agreement.

Does Teacherim.com provide online conferencing platforms for online lessons.

Yes, we do have a built in conferencing platform for online lessons. However, it is still on progress so we recommend other free video conferencing platforms accessible online, such as Skype, Zoom, Google Meet etc.

You can pay on our website through an online payment form that you will see after booking a teacher from their profile or a payment link sent in your messages. 

You can use your debit or credit card. You can also update your payment details on your profile settings.

For security reasons, we advise you to pay on the website directly so whenever there are changes on your booking like teacher replacement or booking of additional hours, necessary changes can be easily made in our system.

They are subscriptions where you can get bigger discount up to 15% depending on the offer of your chosen teacher. 3 to 6 months subscriptions are automatically renewed on the same day when you subscribed. The hours remaining from previous month can be carried over to the following month. You can cancel your subscription at any time without cancellation fees. Any remaining hours that have not been used during the subscription, can still be used within 60 days before it expires.

In case you need additional hours from your tutor or governess, you should make a new booking and confirm payment on the website before the teacher proceeds with his service with you. Users cannot pay the teacher directly as it is against our terms with our registered teachers.

Book your teacher and choose the number of hours per session as well as the number of days per month. Then choose your subscription, either 3 or 6 months. Confirm your payment by providing your bank details.

You have to provide us with valid reasons supported by substantial proof for refund. Such valid reasons could be inconsistency of the teacher’s timing or attendance, poor tutoring/governess-related services or safeguarding issues.

If you decide not to continue with your teacher, we will introduce you to another teacher to replace the previous one. You can also choose from our platform. In the event that you decide to withdraw from our services due to mentioned valid reasons, we will deduct the total number of hours the teacher taught the student then a calculated refund will be sent to you online within 7 to 10 working days.

No, teachers registered in the site are not permitted to accept direct payment from clients since we desire a legal method for payment and it’s not safe for you in case the teacher does not show up in his next lesson or did not deliver a good service.

No, we do not take any liability for any payments made directly between students and teachers. If any payment is made outside our website, we can't do anything about it. You may still contact us and we will try to help but we can't guarantee that we will be able to get your refund.

This system is built to avoid fraud and create easier transactions between students and teachers. We used to get reports from teachers who taught students but didn’t pay them and from students who paid but the teacher did not show up or delivered a good service. Some students would also like to pay in advance but are afraid to pay directly to teachers without receipt, cancellation or refund policy.

Students pay through our platform.

We keep the payment (on hold) with us.

The teacher delivers the service.

Payment is sent to the teacher after completing weekly sessions.

Rest assured that the service you’ve paid will be rendered to you.

International students can easily pay through card and in different currencies. 

Your reviews will have a "verified label." After paying through our platform using their personal/financial details, we legally understood that you’re using a real account. Reviews and rating submitted by you will be labelled as "Verified," which generates extra trust from high caliber teachers who would like to serve you. This can also teachers you have reviewed to have more students.

After attending every lesson you will be prompted to provide your feedback regarding the lesson or your teacher. We encouraged you to rate your teacher in order to evaluate teaching performance and ensure quality control. 

You can also do this by going to your teacher’s profile and click Rate and Review button.

Your teacher can also send you a feedback link where you can rate and review her teaching services.

1.You will first need to choose a teacher whom we recommended to you. After arranging the schedule, you can avail your chosen teacher’s trial which can be paid or free. 

2.If the teacher does not allow a free trial lesson, you will have to pay at least one hour lesson upfront through our online payment form which will be sent to you.

3.If you are happy with your teacher you can continue with your lessons. 

4.Your trial lesson counts as your first lesson and will be substracted from your lesson credit.

If you can provide us with a valid reason supported by substantial proof, we can organize a new lesson with another teacher. The rest of your unused credit will be carried over to your  next teacher.

We are sure you will like our lessons as we have credited and vetted teachers. If however for any valid reason, you decide to discontinue your lessons with us, you can apply for a refund of your unused lesson credits. 

We are a high quality platform and all of our teachers are verified and interviewed. Course scheduling and teacher screening cost us a lot of time. We require students to book at least a 1 hour lesson, so we make sure that unserious requests are filtered.

Your teacher will be paid because he has reserved a schedule only for you and you will be charged for a 50% of 1 hour lesson’s booking fee. We have a flexible lesson policy, for as long as we are informed within 24 hours.

We must be notified of any cancellations or changes to any booking. We follow a 24 hour cancellation policy.

If you give us 24 hours or more notice,  you may change the booking and receive credit for future bookings.

Less than 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation charge. Cancellation charges are the 50% of 1 hour’s full booking fee unless agreed with us for extreme reasons.

Students are prohibited to directly communicate with the teacher outside the platform messages. This is to evaluate teaching services tendered by the teachers and to ensure student and teacher’s privacy and safety. All communication must only be done in platform messages.

You can provide us with your friend’s details. We will contact them and will give you referral bonus. 

You can also log-in to your account. Go to Payment and Rewards and click Generate Referral Code. You can copy that link and send it to your friend. Your friend can register on our website using your link then find your referred teacher’s profile. After that he can follow “How can I book a session?” steps in the beginning of this FAQ.

 

Please note that you are prohibited to directly refer another client to our teacher as they have made business terms and agreement with us. This will cause deletion of that teacher’s account on our platform. If you know other parents or students who are interested in our services, please contact us directly.

You can follow the same steps from the previous question but they can freely choose any teacher they like. They can also use the BOOK a TRIAL button after registering from our website. 

At the end of each session, our tutor is required to log in their completed tuition date, number of hours and payment remarks. Kindly check if there are any discrepancies regarding these information under your dashboard’s SESSIONS tab. If you have any doubt on these information, send us a message on your teacher’s group chat so that we can clarify them.
